To my faithful blog readers: I apologize for my lack of updates recently but I have been very busy! I was a little bit under the weather after my trip to NY. (I did get to see my Uncle Mike while we were there and he makes me laugh a lot. That was the only fun part of the trip!) After a few days of rest, chocolate milk and Wonder Pets I felt much better. It was a good thing that I was well again because I've had a lot going on recently.
My playgroup had a big party at Zachary's house. We were celebrating everyone turning one! I think all the babies were envious of my super cool sunscreen mohawk. (Mommy just can't bring herself to give me a haircut because I am so stylin').
I helped Uncle Andy with his move by keeping an eye on some of his stuff while he was in transition. I thought his computer looked hungry, so I tried to feed it a graham cracker.
I took my first trip to the zoo! It was so much fun because I love animals. The petting zoo part was closed because of the hot weather and I was a little disappointed because I like to see the animals close up. I was able to pet a zebu and I thought it was hilarious! My favorite animals to look at were the llamas, the porcupines and the jaguar cubs.
Since I like to share, I shared some germs with Daddy and got him sick. I kept him company on the couch (and held the TV remote for him) while he got better.
I did a brief stint in baby jail.
When I got out, I celebrated my freedom by going to the beach! I spent a lot of time in the water, trying to drink it. We don't have any photographic evidence of this because Mommy wasn't coordinated enough to hold on to me and the camera at the same time.
I've never experienced quite this much sand before. I really didn't know if I should be grossed out or try to eat it. I definitely didn't like my knees touching the sand, at least until I determine how I feel about it. I stuck to the crab walk.
Okay, I guess the sand isn't so bad. MAYBE I'll try crawling just for a minute. I am liking this beach thing.
Can you believe this summer is almost over?

Yeah! I've had my Ben fix! You are so stylin' (I don't blame Mom)! Curious as to why youse was in Baby jail ('cause you gave your Daddy germs?) The crab walk is hysterical- that sand can be kinda yucky! You are such a lucky little guy to have all these wonderful adventures. Your Grandpa said that the reason you liked the baby jaguars is because you have good taste, and guess who is inheriting his XKR?????? Keep on blogging sweetheart-we love you!!!!
