Christmas Adventures

Mommy and Daddy debated and debated how to handle the Christmas Tree situation this year. I don't know if you've noticed this about me, but I am very curious and tend to get into everything. We made a family decision to get a small tree and put it on the dining room table. I think it looked very pretty.

A few times, I talked Mommy into letting me play with the ornaments. I also liked to touch the lights and say "hot" (because they are hot, in case anyone was wondering).

I went to a few different parties this Christmas season, but the one I enjoyed the most was my playgroup's party at my friend Brent's house. Don't I look fetching in my Christmas sweater? (Okay, not the best picture but I was very fascinated with the air freshener and Mommy couldn't get me to hold still so she could take a better one.)

Santa (who looked vaguely like Clara's dad) stopped by the party and brought us presents! I got three books that I had been asking for and I was very excited.

Last weekend, Mommy and Daddy and I were faced with a rare situation: A Saturday without any other commitments. I spent the time supervising the construction of my new toybox.

On Christmas Eve, we went to GGma and GGpa's house in Connecticut.
I had a lot of fun playing with this singing and dancing penguin/snowman/christmas tree thing (which GGma threatened to send home with us). Eventually, somebody found the off button for me.

Hanging with GGpa in the kitchen.

When we got home, I played with my new bulldozer before I went to sleep.

On Christmas morning, I didn't understand what was going on but Mommy and Daddy were very excited for me to unwrap gifts. They kept handing me things to rip apart, so I wasn't complaining but I was still a little confused. I was surprised to find out that there were actually things under the paper. A lot of the time, they were things that I found enjoyable so I got into it pretty quickly.
Mommy had to help me with some of them.

Wait a minute, these aren't mine!

A cute video of me opening a present...

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYBODY!!!!

Let's see, I've watched the video a hundred times and laugh every time. I noticed that his daddy also goes "ohhha" when he opens presents too.
