I like to help Mommy work in the garden. It is my job to pick the cucumbers and tomatoes. I've been very on top of the cucumber situation and have picked a lot.
This year our tomatoes have been a little pathetic. (Mommy forgot the cow manure, even though I reminded her. She has learned her lesson). Mommy told me I can't pick the tomatoes until they grow and turn red.
I've been doing a lot of waiting.

Hi Ben, those tomatoes take their time turning red don't they. GGpa tomatoes are taking a long time too...But they taste so good when they're ready. You are such a good helper, I know Mommy is happy you're there to do things with her...

What a wonderful helper Mommy has, and such a patient one too! I remember a picture of a little guy in front of the refrigerator holding a tomato like it was the most precious thing ever and now you are helping to grow them, how wonderful. We love you big guy!
