The crazy hot weather is gone, but the torrential downpours made my outdoor party at Great Brook Farm a little, um, interesting. Nevertheless, I was psyched to see my school friends and my friends from babyhood all in one place. We moved our little shindig indoors to the ice cream shop, ran around and watched the cows.
It was all good.
(Mental note to the party planning committee: No more outdoor birthday parties. Even in July.)
