Safety never sleeps

I am very interested in fire safety since some fire fighters came to talk at my school. When I came home from school, I demonstrated for Mommy how to stop, drop and roll and then I noted the locations of all of our smoke detectors.

If you ask me, I will tell you that I know all the firemen in town. There's Fireman Dave and um, there's, um, Fireman Something Else.

I kept Daddy up past my bed time to draw a picture of the house so I could make a Fire Safety Plan.

I drew a couple of escape routes from my room.

I know I will sleep better at night knowing we have a plan.
